How do you fancy winning a £1000 shopping spree with Ted? Well, if you’re in Leeds this weekend, you have the chance to do just that. Ted’s Victoria Quarter store reopened it’s doors today, and we’re celebrating the only way we know how: with owls and wool. No, we haven’t completely lost it, we’ve just been getting creative! We’ve taken a leaf out of Leeds’ history books to bring you Ted’s Owl Trail – the best way to spend a weekend. We’ve dotted a few of our fine feathered friends close to the soon-to-reopen store. Look out for them – they’re brightly coloured, knitted and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Each owl has a letter attached to it. Can you see where we’re going with this? Using our interactive map (or one of the printed maps we have in-store) work out the location of each owl. Jot down the letters attached to each one as you go, and re-jig them until you find the word we’ve spelled out! Take the word into the store and fill out a form with your answer and contact information. Our winner will be going on one huge shopping spree and the first 10 to get the correct answer each day will get a Ted goodie bag!
While you’re in the store, try some of our edible spun wool, or owl-themed ales, and indulge in a spot of sight-seeing in your brand new surroundings. As ever, there are lots of hidden gems in the decor, so keep your eyes peeled!
You may remember a few weeks back when Ted’s team were spotted handing out mysterious balls of wool around and about. Well, when you bring your wool wrapper back into the store this weekend, we’ll give you a prize! Every wrapper wins something, but what you get depends on the symbol on the front of it. Snap a picture of yours using #TedBakerLeeds – we can’t wait to see what you win.
